FLOW's 2G network shutdown.

Flow, one of our major technology partners, has announced the shutdown of their 2G telecommunication network for all customers, including Amber Solutions by December 31, 2022. This means that your current Amber Connect tracking devices utilizing these services will be incompatible with their adjusted network within the next four (4) months.
The sunsetting/shutdown of the 2G network is also in line with worldwide efforts to provide customers with faster connectivity, that is more reliable and efficient by embracing newer technologies such as LTE, 4G, and 5G. These changes will lead us to change our devices, package, and costs.

As a customer who may have impacted devices on your account, we are providing early notification to allow you time to transition to the upgraded network, utilizing new compatible devices. There will be several devices available to allow you to continue to enjoy the full benefits of the upgraded network. We are currently procuring new LTE vehicle tracking devices to be available to you. Our team will be reaching out to you over the next few weeks to discuss transition options that meet your needs. How does this impact my account?

Customer impacts will vary by account.

Please work with our team if you have any specific questions on how your account may be impacted.

Ensure that your account remain active.

If your account will be expiring soon or has expired, please renew immediately to take advantage of the upgrades.

Effective immediately, all new installations will commence the upgrade process.

Please schedule appointment with us for your exiting vehicle(s).

Current tracking device need to change.

Existing devices will be impacted. You will need to schedule a re-installation on your vehicle with new LTE devices to continue receiving services.

Adjusted packages and costs.

There will be an increase in cost in line with these improved
devices capabilities, bandwidth, richer speed and; capacity with the upgraded network.
